Let’s Be Honest

Ok, let’s be honest.

I am trans.

You are trans.

Everyone except a (female) Barbie Doll is trans (because male Barbie dolls are Trans).

WHAT? WHY WOULD I SAY THIS?

What is TRANSGENDER?

Transgender: A general term applied to a variety of individuals, behaviors, and groups involving tendencies to vary from culturally conventional gender roles (e.g., sex stereotypes).

Transgender is the state of one’s gender identity (self-identification as woman, man, neither or both) not matching one’s assigned sex (identification by others as male, female or intersex based on physical/genetic sex).

The precise definition for transgender remains in flux, but includes:

  • “Of, relating to, or designating a person whose identity does not conform unambiguously to conventional notions of male or female gender roles, but combines or moves between these.”
  • “People who were assigned a sex, usually at birth and based on their genitals, but who feel that this is a false or incomplete description of themselves.”
  • “Non-identification with, or non-presentation as, the sex (and assumed gender) one was assigned at birth.”

So says Dickipedia.

So unless you are a Barbie Doll, Women, YOU ARE TRANSGENDER.

If Everyone except a toy is in the “class” of Trans, it kind of renders the Class meaningless.

I mean, what are the characteristics of the class of Transgender? That we don’t look like Barbie? That we wear pants? That we find Gender oppressive? That sex stereotypes oppress us?

Transgender is a collection of special snowflake individuals clinging to the same life preserver, not a class of human with defining characteristics.

Sorry, I will stick with the class FEMALE.

Because although fashion will change, biology is constant.

HAI! I AM BIOLOGY…BEING CONSTANT.

That cartoon kid looks like me at around 9… 😀

  2. I love that someecards image. I posted it to my Facebook, and a bunch of trans/queer people “liked” it. Just goes to show how lacking they are in any kind of coherent analysis.

  3. […] think it might be time for this.  I think, at the rate things are going, Everyone Is Trans.  And I cannot see how this “Everything is Everything” impulse reflects reality or […]
